bringing style and grace to Irish dancing in the Northwest.

Baile Glas celebrates the joyful traditions of Irish dancing in Seattle, and Bellevue.

The dancers, children, ages 6 through teens, perform lively jigs, reels, and hornpipes in the step dance style of Ireland. Baile Glas Irish Dancers perform throughout the year at multicultural celebrations including numerous appearances at Irish Week at the Seattle Center, N.W. Folklife Festival, Shoreline Arts Festival, and Renton River Days. Traditional tunes inspire choreography that is both exciting, and authentic.

The dance school is under the direction of Maggie Corrigan, TCRG. She is a registered teacher with An Coimisiun Le Rinci Gaelacha, Dublin, as well as a Seattle native, and a founding member of the Baile Glas group in 1989.

Dance class locations include Capitol Hill and the Crown Hill neighborhood of NW Seattle. Trimester enrollment begins in Sept., January, and mid-April. New beginners are welcome to join within the current trimester.
